At Veritas Marine, preventative maintenance is taken very seriously. We use top quality products so that your vessel can remain underway without unscheduled maintenance delays. Some of the ways we do this are routine fluid sampling, frequent filter changes, and staying on top of scheduled maintenance items as specified by the manufacturer.
From minor to major repairs Veritas Marine has you covered. We can take care of repairs ranging from a routine water pump to a complete motor mount replacement as pictured. We will also work on old outboards (over 25 years old) which many shops no longer do.
Whether you need custom dock lines for your home port, a custom halyard, or a dinghy tow bridal, we can help with all of your custom rigging needs.
We can help with a variety of voyage planning needs. This can range from an A-->B route, or complete with fuel stops and overnight berths arranged. If we plan an offshore passage for you we will also build in weather contingencies so you can shift inshore, or anchor in a protected area before resuming. All routes will include a float plan filed with us and anyone you choose.
Commisioning a newly purchased vessel can be a daunting task. We can help by thoroughly inventorying existing supplies on the vessel and determining what is needed prior to getting underway.
Safety should be a consideration every time you leave the dock. We can help find any areas of concern on your vessel and provide a path to resolve the issue. Some things we look at are lifesaving equipment, radio equipment, signaling equipment, and fire suppression. We can also help you with station bills for longer voyages so that everyone knows their duties in a variety of different emergency scenarios. We can also accompany you for drills to provide constructive criticism and another point of view on how the event was handled.
